THE BEGINNING OF THE WAY PT 4

NEW BEHAVIOUR - NEW TRIALS

Yes, your behavior has been changing since coming to the Master Yahshua Messiah (Christ), hasn’t it? And yet, there is still much more that He needs to change in your life

Don’t be afraid of changes! Whatever the Redeemer Master does in your life is for your betterment; so let Him mould you into His own likeness

Let the Master take away any habits that are hindrances in your life

Let Him remold your life

Yes, He will change your behavior, for He intends to make you more holy, more loving, more truthful, more pure, and more like Himself

For sure, His perfect work in you will not be completed in a day, nor even in a single year

It will be a progressive work

You will grow in Him day by day, throughout your whole life

“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Master and Saviour, Yahshua Messiah (Christ)

To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity (for ever)

Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18)

NEW TRIALS

As you progress in this new Way, you will come across various trials and problems

These are only to be expected, for your old master, Satan, is now your new enemy - your enemy in a new way

And he does not take kindly to your deliverance from his clutches

Another enemy you will encounter, is “the World.” Not everyone in the world will share your joy and faith in the Redeemer Master

Some of your friends will discard you

Some of your relatives may even persecute you, or cast you out because you have given your life to the Messiah - Christ

Now that your allegiance is to the Redeemer Master Yahshua Messiah (Christ), you may not find yourself so welcome with the world as you were before

You may find that some temptations become more acute now

You will certainly become more aware of the blackness of sin, and it will grieve you whenever you fail

At times, it will seem that the battle between right and wrong is going on right inside you

But, young believer, never fear that you have lost salvation because of this warfare, or because of any failure

In a later posta we'll discuss this more fully, but for now, let us recognize that trials will come

The positive side, however, is that Elohim (God) uses our trials to develop our faith and maturity in Him

“In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while you have been distressed by various trials, that the proving of your faith - which is more precious than gold that perishes, though tested by fire -may be found to result in praise, glory and honour at the revelation of Yahshua the Messiah ”

( 1 Peter 1:6-7) We can be totally assured that in all our trials, problems, persecutions and temptations, the Saviour will be with us, not just to aid, but to deliver

He will give us the victory

“but thanks be to Elohim who gives us the victory through our Master Yahshua Messiah!” (1 Corinthians 15:57) “But YAHWEH knows to rescue the righteous out of temptation, and to keep the unjust to be punished at the judgment day.” (2 Peter 2:9) “No temptation has seized you that people do not normally experience

And YAHWEH Elohim is faithful; He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear

“But with the temptation He will also provide the way out so that you may be able to stand up under it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13) So friend, this is the beginning of the Way that leads to life eternal

We encourage you to press ahead in the Way, as we ourselves are doing

We are just a little ahead of you and we want to help you in the Way

The lessons following, we trust, will be a great help and blessing to you

Please read over each post part several times during the week to retain the contents in your mind

Also, try to memorize some of the Bible verses included in the lessons

They will be a good standby for you in the coming days
