The Pit may be the easiest max-level area to farm in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Blowing up the reduced Life Elite Groups in this region is both satisfying and rewarding. Every single Unique and Set Item can drop from their store, which makes it a great starting point for diving deep into your Holy Grail.

Boost your Magic Find up to possible and farm the Pit in solo games for any high efficiency. Bump up the ball player count in Single Player as you become stronger enabled to destroy high-density areas.

Pit Levels 1 and 2 are Area Level (all) 85 zones in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Elite Packs in this region can drop every Set and Unique item hanging around, which makes them incredibly valuable to farm.

Killing high monster density frequently rewards you with High Runes (up to Zod Rune), Charms, and valuable Runeword Bases, especially on high player counts (/players 7).

The Pit is a cave with 2 floors located in Tamoe Highland between Black Marsh and the Outer Cloister. Use the Waypoint from the Outer Cloister and backtrack after that. Follow the path before you come across a T-junction. From here one path splits on the Black Marsh and someone to the Pit's entrance.

Tips Tricks

Maximize Magic Find

Super high-level Unique and Set Items would be the main reason to farm any max-level area. Optimizing the "Better Chance of Getting Magic Items" Stat increases the time of finding them. Since monsters in this region have a really low average Life, you will get away with lowering your damage significantly.

Route

The Pit Level 2 is always towards the "Left" from the entrance and it has a small static layout having several Elite Groups. Make sure to explore Pit Level 1 before you killed approximately 6 Elite Groups before entering it. Always open the Golden Chest that is situated here.

High Player Count

A high player count increases the number of items dropping at 3/5/7 players which increases the time for dropping good Base Items, Runes, Flawless Gems, Charms, and Jewels. Play in the highest count you are feeling comfortable on!

Backtrack from the Outer Cloister Waypoint and stick to the path to discover the Pit quickly.

The Pit is a max-level area with low Life enemies that may drop every Unique and Set item hanging around.

Focus your time and efforts on Elite Groups, they would be the reason why you're here. Kill these on both floors!

When your Area of Effect clear becomes stronger, start experimenting with having a higher player count to increase the time for Runes, Bases, and Charms.
