SHARING HIS LIFE

THE BEGINNING OF THE WAY PT 9

SHARING HIS LIFE

Let us progress further

It is thrilling, dear believer, that our faith is not merely believing the facts about our wonderful Master, Saviour and Elohim (God), but it is a real and vital participation in His Life

Our relationship to Yahshua Messiah/Christ is not theoretical, but a living reality

It is also a very personal relationship, and He is quite capable of sharing Himself with every individual at the same time, and to the extent that the believer desires and is available to Him

He lives within us, so let's learn to count on that fact, and learn to let His Life manifest in our behavior - in our actions, in our expressions, our smile, and in our words

Since you were born again, believer, you have been experiencing the life of Y'shua Messiah/Christ working within you

Now, I want you to guard against the subtle danger of drifting back to the “natural” life and thinking that you, yourself, should live out your Christian life in your own strength

Guard against the danger of thinking that you should “carry yourself” along the way

Just as you first came to Messiah/Christ, in faith, now continue to follow Him - by faith

And faith means more than believing in Him - it means trusting Him, becoming dependent upon Him

Here is a simple, but often difficult lesson to learn

Yahshua (Jesus) said: “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) Then Paul said: “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13) The lesson is, learn to be totally dependent on the Person of Messiah (Christ) within you, so that His life and power is released in your behavior and activity

Paul explained it this way: “I have been crucified with the Messiah; and I no longer live, but it is the Messiah who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of Elohim (God) who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
