The most important question that is looming over this update, which won't be answered unless someone is willing to sue whether or not the release would've even been announced in the first place if it weren't for the fact that future updates were planned. Could it be that EA decided to hold until the very end of Mut 25 coins season before seeing an explosion of fire sparked due to the overwhelming anger from the fan base that came with the report?

This may to explain the sloppy feeling of an update that is arriving a little over a month from the Super Bowl, when many Madden players have already lost their enthusiasm in football and ready to switch to other games. In any case, it's hard to ignore the announcement during the game's launch that there will be three updates to the franchise as a sort of classic bait-and-switch that has been viewed in the past.

It's no doubt that they lured the majority of players who played Madden to play franchise mode into buying Madden 25 with the assurance that franchise mode would be more important but they quickly put it off. It shouldn't be a surprise to see franchise players quit Madden entirely now, because they fear they'll never be sure of what EA declares about franchise mode in the future.

First of all, the expectations for that third and final update to the franchise in the event that it does happen can't be less now. Is it coming in June? July? When the third update is released when it comes out, will anyone be in a position to complete one season of the franchise before Madden 25 comes out? It shouldn't be too alarming if all the final update has included is the addition of a few updated playbooks, and a new scenario that lets you choose whether to shout at your kicker for not completing an attempt to score or comfort the player instead.
