This increases the difficulty of the run

On April 1st Twitch streamer Seki performed a feat of sheer brilliance in the FromSoftware's Elden Ring. After many attempts and practice Seki became an expert and completed what appears to Elden Ring Runes be the world's only recorded zero-hit/no-damage-run of Elden Ring.

Seki's run, which was no-hit and damage-free, took just under 3 hours and was broadcast live on stream, with him posting the photo of his win just afterward on Twitter with a giddy announcement of the good news. On Twitter, Seki stated that his impressive run was a "world's first." A few people questioned this and pointed to a different, earlier event by streamer GinoMachino who was running on March 13. However, while GinoMachino did complete Elden Ring without taking any hit, that run is far from what Seki was able to accomplish.

"No-Hit/No Damage is harder than a standard no-hit race since the player cannot suffer environmental damage, such as fall damage/poison etc," Seki explained to MMOexp. "This increases the difficulty of the run as I don't have access to buy Elden Ring Runes buffs such as Red-Feathered branchswords that could increase my damage output in the event that I had low health."
