I want to recommend Ocu-Glo eye vitamins for everyone's dogs. They are pricey, but since they saved my Coco from going blind from retinitis and allowed her to have some vision the last two years of her long life, we've given them to every one of our dogs. They've all gone back to their Creator with clear, bright eyes. The recommendation was from the Doctor of Ophthalmology at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta. It's 100 percent worth the money. http://www.ocuglo.com/

Jekku Schipperke from Finland is a bootube channel I really enjoy. Watching this makes me laugh and cry; he reminds me so much of my Skipper and Coco -- but with a tail. How I miss them! -zn4
all of my schipperke friends from Facebook know the story but for new friends joining here here's the background. Six months ago pip was diagnosed with irritable bowel disease which progressed to protein losing enteropathy. he did not respond well to the immunosuppressants and for a bit I was very very very worried about him. as we reduced the dosage down we seem to have hit a point that is keeping the disease in check without a lot of side effects. his attitude still varies day-to-day. yesterday he was miserable the poor little thing. and I couldn't coax him to eat last night or this morning. then just about half an hour ago he started perking up. his eyes have lost that dull glassy I'm in pain sort of look. and now he's yipping and barking and wanting me to play with them!
