USA.Life Social Network

If you find you have "Friended" a person's account that is not really to your liking, it is easy to "UnFriend." Just go the person's page and click on the green "Friend" button near the top left of their page. Clicking the "Friend" button will allow you to UnFriend any account you have already "Friended," but now realize you do not wish to see their posts in your timeline anymore.
Regarding "Bots":

From an online article on "Broadly speaking, social media bots are automated programs used to engage in social media. These bots behave in an either partially or fully autonomous fashion, and are often designed to mimic human users."

As a result of being used to experiencing "bot" activity on the big tech social medias, new members to USA.Life can sometimes feel the site does not have people here interacting because their posts are not receiving hundreds of reactions (likes, loves, smileys, etc.) like they were used to seeing on the other big tech social media sites. Since USA.Life does not use "bots," it is helpful for members themselves to help increase interaction with their posts by personally building their Friend lists and interacting with other members, as well as on Pages and Groups.

Added Tip: Use common-sense discernment when making Friend connections.
Q. "How do we report spam?"

A. If it is a post, you can click the downward arrow you see at the top right of the post. That will show a menu that includes Report. If it is a comment, you should be able to hover your mouse/cursor over the top right area of the comment and it should reveal an option to Report. If it is a person that is a spammer/fake/scammer, go to their page and click on the three vertical dots that are near the top of their page. That should open a menu that includes options to Report and even Block. Or you can send a message to the account using the Private Message option and describe what you are seeing as a problem.
