Deployed to Vietnam in July of 1965 with the 101st. I was one of the "Boat People" on the USS General Leroy Eltinge troop carrier that took that 28 day cruise landing at Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam.
I was with the 101st Airborne Division, 1963-1966.
