#rules of Engagement" is on the shelf, out about a month. Here is one review from MCH: "Seemingly right out of today’s headlines, “Rules of Engagement” engaged me in a tormenting, fictional revelation of a diabolical plan to depopulate most of the world through a pandemic, the spread of a deadly Ebola virus. This action packed thriller uses realistic violence to forcefully defeat ‘the bad guys’. The author is brilliant in the skillful use of scientific, military, and medical terminology, while bringing home the meanings and inferences to my level of understanding. The novel is politically savvy with uncanny revelations.

The characters are well developed. I would like to see Scott Walker and Cheyenne Keyes ‘deployed’ in a follow-up novel. Scott and Cheyenne’s attraction to each other has lots of friction, reminiscent of the Bogart and Bacall classic movies. “Rules of Engagement” is a shocking suspense thriller, well detailed, excitingly timed, and technologically accurate.

When I finished the novel, I realized that I’d found the missing spark of excitement which had vanished with the deaths of authors, Tom Clancy and Vince Flynn. If you were a follower of Clancy or Flynn, I’m sure you’ll love this book, too!" (wow, awesome, so many thanks to her). Currently working on the sequel to Romance Under Wraps in small town Whiskey River, Oregon, called "Glass Slipper." Suspense/romance.

Last night, my hubby and I celebrated with Sparkling Cider because my second novel, "Rules of Engagement" has been accepted and we prayed about it, then I signed the contract. Elk Lake Publishing. The best! It 'should be' on the shelf in about 6 months. I did figure that it would take about 3 months (the usual wait time) so I could edit for plot holes et al. I submitted it at 5:30 pm, and 2 hours later, the publisher said, would you like me to send a contract? Wow.

IN the meantime I am still pushing I MEAN hawking, no, um I MEAN promoting "Romance Under Wraps." Thief. Detective. What are the obstacles here? haha, she's threatened with prison. He needs her. His hands are tied and hers are not. This should go well. Right?

Catherine Cade, identity thief, is now in more trouble than she ever could imagine. Detective Rick Calhoun wants to investigate a mysterious death but his hands are tied. Since hers are not ...

She has plans to run.
He has his own plans.
What happens if the plans backfire?
What happens when they fall for each other?
Forbidden romance. Clean, Christian romantic suspense.

Good morning world! It's relatively early here and hopefully I will get work done on my new WIP.

In the meantime, check out my trailer for "Romace Under Wraps," a #suspense read I hope you love. Catherine Cade. Rick Calhoun. When they say 'opposites attact,' they have no idea how true that is!!

Love this. I actually did hold my breath as I wrote for authenticity...!

"Don't let the title fool you; this is a suspenseful tension-inducing read. Yes, there is a touching romantic underlying theme, but my interest was a suspenseful crafted story. This novel meets and exceeds my personal interests in both suspense and romance. The author displays a solid knowledge of police work and captures a cops' thought process and their dry humor (I know because I was once one).

The main character's, Catherine, on and off again romantic relationship with Detective Calhoun, is peppered with humorous quick-witted barbs. However, you see a growing relationship with each other. The storyline also draws a line of Christian thought through it. A dynamic, dangerous, and complex novel compels the reader to turn the pages to the very end. And what an ending."

okay so I'd say I am really tired of posting reviews for Romance Under Wraps but well, I'm not, haha, ahem. Two more here packed with awesomeness, and thanks to those who read to the end despite all ... because well, nothing is ever what it seems, is it?

From Nancy: “Romance Under Wraps” delivers a fun summer read with fast paced action and slow cooking romance, all the while taking the reader on a white knuckle ride-along. Calhoun and Cade dance around, figuratively and literally, while finding the best in each other and in themselves. Add in technical details reminiscent of TV episodes of "CSI" and "Dr. G—Medical Examiner" and you have a mystery unraveled by clever sleuthing. But the plot and subplots do not follow a linear path. Situations keep going sideways until the last scene when . . . nope, no spoilers in this review."

And from Colbrook: "Romance Under Wraps" opens with my curiosity piqued from the start and continued through the rest of the book. Claire O'Sullivan truly has a way with words and there were times when I added some of them to my quote book. Thank you for a great read."
