Learning how to cultivate soil is one of the best practices when you are starting an herb garden. We exclusively use compost, chop and drops, and fertilizer "tea" in our gardens on our homestead. My herb garden has greatly benefitted from this practice!

Spent the morning cleaning out my nasal passages ?? I processed 3 pounds of horseradish root. I made 1/2 pound into simple prepared horseradish with a little salt and vinegar which we can use to make creamy horseradish later; and the rest I preserved in ACV for use in making fire cider later as gifts for friends. Peeling and shredding 3 pounds of horseradish felt like experiencing the off-gassing of my hubby's clothing after he spent the day manning gas chamber. ?????? #homesteading #preparedness #herbs #naturalhealth
