Dear Senator Young:
WHY NO TWO-STATE SOLUTION IS HISTORICALLY CORRECT . . . .
Jewish people have resided in Judea/Samaria/Galilee (areas encompassing modern day Israel) for about 3500-4000 years. They are a people truly indigenous to the area.
• Secular historians state that the confederation of people known as "Israel", is mentioned in the Merneptah Stele inscription from ancient Egypt dating to about 1208 BC.
• Arab people began living in the area following the Islamic conquests of 634-636 AD under Caliph Umar’s imperial Muslim armies. The area called Judea has Always and only been a Sovereign Jewish State. No other local government has ever governed the area.
• The First Commonwealth –was ruled by King Saul, then King David, then King Solomon,
• The Second Commonwealth-was during the time Jews returned from Babylon in 539 BC
• Then the Nation of Israel established 1948
No non-Jewish State, Commonwealth, or Nation has ever existed there. Between the Second Commonwealth and 1948-lands were controlled by Romans, Byzantines, Caliphate, Crusaders, Mamluk, the Ottomans,
and the British Empire –but NEVER a non-Jewish nation there.
• Never a Palestinian, Arab, or Muslim state.
Since about 3500-4000 years ago, there have always been Jews in Judea who never left the area, they are known as the Old Yishuv.
These preceding statements are not opinions . . . simply facts of history.
WE URGE YOU, FOR THE SAKE OF AMERICA, PLEASE STAND WITH ISRAEL. STAND AGAINST ANY TWO-STATE SOLUTION.
