This picture literally blew me out of the water the first moment I saw it.

Most people who know Joy and I know we have three sons. Far fewer know, until now, that Joy and I have had several miscarriages on our way to our three boys. The first, probably the most devastating to us at the time, was the one we “lost” before our oldest, Rick, was born. There is almost four years between our first and second born, Randy, and only 16 months between our second and third, Dan. The reason for the four years between Rick and Randy was another three babies lost.

We sincerely believe life begins, at the very latest, at conception. A good case can be made, Biblically, even before that if you take into consideration ““I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.””
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Recently both Joy and I have been reminded by our Savior of the eternal glory that awaits us when we will finally see our Jesus face to Face. We have commented about the four children that were conceived out of our love that we never saw or held in our arms or watched grow up under our parental care. We have been reminded that our days on earth are numbered and that our eternity with Jesus draws closer with each passing day.

I honestly and sincerely believe that our first moments in heaven will be when filled with incredible joy when our Savior introduces us to our four children who we never saw on earth.

“For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. And now he has made all of this plain to us by the appearing of Christ Jesus, our Savior. He broke the power of death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the Good News. And God chose me to be a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of this Good News. That is why I am suffering here in prison. But I am not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1:9-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Each of us have things we have entrusted to Jesus against that day. We entrusted each one of our babies to Him. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus,
