My son wrote this on FB and it gives one a lot to think about.

"Why haven’t I deleted Facebook, despite it being an exercise in extreme frustration?

Because voices of reason have become few and far between these days. I get that this can appear annoying to some and I know I’m not perfect at this, but I honestly am trying to build bridges between opposite view points and help people understand that we really are in this together.

Psychologists realized that humans are tribal by default a long time ago.

It is being used against us.

The majority have been enslaved in an economy built on debt and have had their buying power, their health, but more importantly and their most precious resource, their short amount of time in this life, almost completely stolen from them.

Q’s “revolution”, even the idea that God will sort out the wicked in the end, are being used as tools to placate you.

You’re made to be afraid of the “other side”. Xenophobia is running rampant. Enough sleight of hand and everyone is wrapped up in the noise and the chaos, despite everyone wanting the same things.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, not just for ourselves, but our loved ones. Extend that latter group. We’ve been absolutely horrid to each other.

Unplug. Quiet your mind. Think. Come back with your findings. Let cooler heads, reasonable, and thoughtful ideas prevail.

There is a way through this mess we’ve inherited, been tricked into perpetuating. There is hope and a light at the end of the tunnel.

But only if we make it so."
