If you are asking to join my friends list, have some things posted on your profile page. I always check out the profiles of people who ask (as well as the profiles of those I ask). I do not randomly accept friend requests. I want to actually know my "virtual" friends beyond just a name and a single picture. They do not all need to be of you. They should reflect who you are.
