A few original poems on my feelings about masks (for the record, I do wear a mask when I absolutely have to - but if I can avoid it, I do)

I will not wear a facial mask,
So, please don't even try to ask.
It will not do the things they say,
Keep me safe or keep germs at bay.
But it can cause me harm in other ways,
Shhh...that's fake news, or so they say.
If you want to wear one, that is up to you,
But a choice by you is not for me to do.
If getting sick should be my reward,
I won't complain or utter a course word.
Cause I would rather get sick than live in fear
Of every boogyman lurking near.

(and a very lame channeling of the amazing Dr. Seuss)
I will not wear one in my car
I will not wear one in a bar
I will not wear one at the gym
I will not wear one as I sing a hymn

I will not wear one in the store
I will not wear one any more
I will not wear one as my hair is cut
I will not wear one as I stuff my gut

I will not wear one here or there
I will not wear one anywhere
