i am blessed to be in contact with you even if we may not share every single opinion. we still have a lot in common. we are both Americans.
the basis for the need for Universal Income is that China, Mexico, India, Vietnam and other foreign countries have maliciously stolen our jobs and our dignity. We cannot have dignity without meaningful employment in the USA. We were promised in the 1980s that manufacturing jobs would be replaced with a "service economy." that proved to be a lie. There was never any good will towards the middle class from the globalists. They lie because they are aware of simple truths that the public is willing to forget, in order to fantasize about a beautiful lie:
1 "You can't put the toothpaste back into the tube." Once the jobs are gone even though we recognize that we were lied to, it is impossible to get them back. China is not going to admit its crimes against us.
2 "We wouldn't do anything illegal." Sure, they won't. That is even true if you look carefully. They won't do anything that they know that they cannot get away with. That is a big mistake that people are making. It is indeed illegal to displace American workers with foreigners, based on the law books. Try enforcing the law. Globalists and their cronies are flagrantly breaking the law because they know how to get away with it. Asking them to admit this in public is a mistake because they have no obligation to do that.
3 Liberty is created through the EXERCISE of liberty. Liberty is not what the Constitution says it is. It is a giant mistake to expect anyone to protect your liberty or to justify it for you. The other side calls their program of exploitation the exercise of liberty, BECAUSE IT IS. if you roll over for them and take it up the ass willingly, you can't blame them for doing it to you. The globalists already know that people do not have an appetite for challenging authority. Maybe that is partly based on a new culture in America which creates distinctions between people and guarantees that there is no "love" between Americans. We fail to see each other as neighbors, community, family. That is at least in part due to multiculturalism.
