The CMM College of Theology has been around for eleven years. Building the program has been both challenging and exhilarating. I have had to press into the heart of God many times to birth His heart into our school. First, the Lord had me look at the type of students He was sending our way. Often they are working or in ministry; some with families; some single; they were from different countries and time zones, and they were Spirit-filled and love Jesus. Many came to us with academic memories of dry lectures, homework and test. Our adult-learners drove me to my knees and I began to press into the Lord for strategy. The goal was engagement and transformation. Since our in-class time was limited I had to find a way to engage the student in their own learning. The answer, a flipped, hybrid classroom.
