Lately, I've been being educated, on medi care. Mostly, the wasteful spending parts. A friend needed several teeth pulled. The dentist, said, you need to see an oral surgeon, for this tooth. That's one tooth mind you. The person, only has 7 on bottom, they all need work. The simple, and most cost effective solution, is pull all and replace with denture plates. Instead of the job security method, of once a month pull another. But No, the Dentist must authorize per tooth, which she did not!!
My other friend, going to the eye surgeons / doctors. Is seeing 4 different eye surgeons. On Monday, I took her to see one, On Tuesday, I took her to same office, to see another, both of them were there. According to the office, they couldn't set the office visits on same day, because medicare wouldn't authorize that. But they will accept, paying for office services, for 2 days. Instead, of just paying for the eye surgeon visit, x's 2 and one office service.
I end up driving almost 350 miles in two days.
