Daily Prayer for Government
Show God that You are on His side by praying. Praise the LORD for His mercy endures forever.
Heavenly Father,
Americans devoutly recognize Your "Supreme Authority and just Government... in all the affairs of men and of nations".
Jesus says, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falls." Luke 11:17
We confess the sin of division. We unite the USA in Christ.
We pray those causing division will fear You and repent. If those causing division won't repent, then we ask You to move them out of the USA so our nation can heal with brotherly love.
As Your Word says, we pray for the whole country to:
Fear You
Call for Christian religious liberty
Insist to have our God-given rights of life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, property, conscience…
Be truthful
Hate covetousness.
The USA exalts Jesus Christ, so we cry out for Christian leaders to immediately replace those in sin, from school boards to federal government.
We praise You for Your mercy endures forever.
