Saw this the other day.

“My guidance on voting is simple: voting, because it is an act of free will, is a moral act. It will be a decision, like other acts of free will, that will need to be defended before God. Because we elect mere mortals and not angels, there will always be a degree of electing imperfect men and women no matter how we vote. That said, when looking at who we vote for, what happens when we knowingly vote for someone who not just supports but promotes what is intrinsically evil? Do we do mental and spiritual contortions to justify that vote? For me, when a party actively promotes the suspension of the most basic human right there is...the right to life...then, historically speaking that party will see all human rights as equally expendable. In our system of government, the government is to take care that rights are preserved, not dictate to us what our rights are. The US Constitution and Bill of Rights were not written to constrain the populace, but to constrain the government. The right to life was the first right our founders mentioned in the Declaration of Independence. It is foundational. To cede that right is immoral and only sets the stage for every other right to be suspended.“
