I don't think Duck Duck Go has a bug. If you are using Chrome, try using a different browser. It seems that Google is trying to monopolize search engine capabilities. There is an additional search engine that I use often, and suddenly last week it would not work. However, it does work in Opera and Edge, as does Duck Duck Go.
