Our Incomparable Christ
"and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift" (2 Corinthians 9:15).
He took young children in His arms, ate with sinners, and washed His disciple's feet; yet He was before all things; created all things; upholds all things; Heir of all things will subdue all
things; and by Him are all things held together.
He left the glories if Heaven; made Himself of no reputation and took upon Himself the form of a servant. He was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities.
He gave His back to the smitters, His cheels to them to them that plucked off the hair, and hid
not His face from shame and spitting. He was despised, rejected, betrayed, mocked, smitten
scourged, made a curse for us and executed as a criminal.
Yet, He is the Rock of Ages; the Sure Foundation, the Creator of the Universe; the Living Word, and the Bread of Life. He is the True Vine, the Unspeakable Gift; the Ptince of Peace; the Chief Sheperd; the One Altogether Lovely; the Mighty God; the Victor Over Death; the Savior of the World; the Judge of All Men; and Our Coming King.
Incomprehensible is His worth: Wonder of Wonders,Jesus Christ!
