The Heritage Foundation announced its 2019 Policy Priorities:
IMMIGRATION. Congress must establish an orderly, merit-based system that encourages assimilation. If it does not, the cost to America will be staggering.
HEALTH CARE. “Medicare for all” is the battle cry for Democrats. If conservatives do not advance a serious alternative plan now, our failure will forever be known as the stumble that led to single-payer.
ELECTION INTEGRITY. Liberals want policies that make election fraud easier, restrict political speech, stop efforts to improve election integrity, and impose federal redistricting rules that favor one political party over another.
FEDERAL SPENDING. America is hurtling toward fiscal insolvency and Congress is unwilling to apply the brakes. The fiscal crisis is real and bold leadership is desperately needed.
