I think at less 13 times today I have heard God has abandoned us. Really?

“Listen to Me, My people; And give ear to Me, O My nation: For law will proceed from Me, And I will make My justice rest As a light of the peoples.
Isaiah 51:4 NKJV

He says listen to me I created you, you are a Nation because of me.

It's possible that in this year our republic dies. Maybe Christians need to take a good hard look at the Lord because governments will come and go. His throne will never be altered. And our citizenship is in heaven people.

Am I sad you bet. I am sad, mad and confused. But I prayed tonight with my friend Stacy and after a calm came over me.

We need to remember God will never abandon those that are faithful to him.
As Christians we need to stand for righteousness unwaveringly and we need to remember our sins have been dealt with at the cross. But this nation, these national sins still have to be dealt with. And we could very well be dealing with God's hand against the nation who has forgotten him.

God has been saying to us as a nation Listen to me and our nation has chosen not to listen. God says love, support and pursue righteousness. We as Christians pursue righteousness by our national leaders have not pursue righteousness in a long time. This nation has not pursued righteousness in a long time.

God does not abandon us as believers. God will never abandon us. But as a nation, we owe God, quite a bit.

“Listen to Me, My people; And give ear to Me, O My nation: For law will proceed from Me, And I will make My justice rest As a light of the peoples. My righteousness is near, My salvation has gone forth, And My arms will judge the peoples; The coastlands will wait upon Me, And on My arm they will trust. Lift up your eyes to the heavens, And look on the earth beneath. For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, The earth will grow old like a garment, And those who dwell in it will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not be abolished. “Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, You people in whose heart is My law: Do not fear the reproach of men, Nor be afraid of their insults. For the moth will eat them up like a garment, And the worm will eat them like wool; But My righteousness will be forever, And My salvation from generation to generation.”
Isaiah 51:4‭-‬8 NKJV
