I AM
This world will give you trials
May go from bad to worse
But keep your faith in He
Who made the universe
Remember little David
To God he was compliant
While the mighty cowered
He slayed a great big giant
When Martha and dear Mary
Had thoughts of gloom and doom
My Savior spoke the words
And called Lazarus from his tomb
When Daniel was condemned
He did not harbor doubts
He knew his Mighty God
Would close those lion’s mouths
He saved the Hebrew children
When evil had its turn
They survived a blazing furnace
And not a hair was burned
Joseph went from slave
To ruler of the lands
He trusted in the God
That holds us in his hands
The God that healed the sick
And also raised the dead
And with just a few small fish
Many thousands fed
He sent his only Son
To counter Adam’s curse
He is the Mighty God
Who made the universe
From the void of nothing
At my God’s insistence
He merely spoke the words
And made ALL of this existence
Glory praise and honor
Are what my God deserves
He is the Great I AM
The God that Moses Served
