History tends to repeat itself over and over again. The main reason for this is we tend to forget the lessons learned from such incidences. Of course, we no longer teach real history in this country thanks to over 30 years of dumbing down brought to you by the federally run public schools.

Much like when the plantation owners did not allow their slaves to learn to read and write, the government knew that if they could control the educational system, they could control future generations. And it worked famously. Those who are ill-informed or uneducated are much easier to rule.

To navigate the future we must learn the lessons from the past, or we are forever doomed to repeat them. And so we find ourselves in that precarious position today. ~ LM Roberts
