This is wrong on many levels. Him saying something stupid and the FBI taking a stupid statement "I am thinking about" and turning it into a crime/actual threat. Watch him I can understand but to charge using (I assume) the charge of "Intent" is not ok in my book
The only difference between a criminal and anyone is the criminal went beyond thinking about doing the crime. The sane person knows not to act on the thought and the smart person knows not to put it in writing. If we are going to start criminalizing people for their thoughts written or not, before they are presented in the context of a thought/desire/wish/need, then I can guarantee you we are all guilty to some degree.
