A DAY OF MOURNING - A BETTER COUNTRY
Although we know that God is ultimately in control, today, 1/20/2021, is nevertheless a day of mourning for Americans. Wicked, wicked, godless people have usurped authority from the American people with the intent of never relinquishing it as long as America exists as a country. So we must mourn while at the same time be looking for a better country and eternal.
"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." (Proverbs 29:2 KJV)
"For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. ... But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city." (Hebrews 11:14, 16 KJV)
