WHAT IF GOD HAS A PLAN TO GIVE MAN ANOTHER CHANCE January 28, 2021
Joe E Pace

God could wipe out all evil with His almighty power.
But God operates by standards / rules which we call laws. He does what is right, called righteous. He gave the authority in the earth to man. He did not interfere when man abdicated to Satan. It was man’s authority to give. But when man cries out to Him, He is given permission to get involved.
God is merciful and long suffering. He did not make man to be robots but gave them free will.
God’s looking for a people that will make the choice to do right.
If they are willing to submit to Him, the all wise all knowing all loving one, with their whole heart and soul, then maybe they are candidates.

Suppose that God sent a man, maybe an unorthodox prophet if you will, to awaken man to his degenerate condition; To first the self-righteous as John The Baptist was of the clergy family but certainly did not fit the looks; To the powers of their day revealing their evil; and To good people to show them how they’ve been duped and suppressed all the while by their evil brethren. Suppose this man’s primary purpose was not to be their savior but to expose to man his corruption and evil, to show the good people how to be offended by the evil in their mist, and to challenge them to get into the fray and to clean it up themselves? What if he knew that if he did it all for them then they would allow it to return simply because they hadn’t come to the place to regard freedom from evil as precious? Freedom and righteousness require a continual price. Would not this man operate within the law and only lead but expect mankind to do their part?

When we say “what’s keeping you?”, he’s saying “what’s keeping you.” Is this not a good way to heal the lands? God came to live in man as His temple but He cannot dwell with evil. Evil must go.

What if He did all of this as a forewarning of the judgment and cleansing that must come should man fail to judge themselves and repent?
