BIDEN ADMINISTRATIN DECLARES WAR ON TEXAS
The Biden administration used “green” energy standards to refuse ERCOT permission to crank up the energy production in Texas despite the emergency declared by Governor Abbot as the polar vortex forced the temperatures in Texas to near zero. Then, adding insult to injury the Biden administration’s Department of Energy (DoE) instructed an “incremental amount of restricted capacity” to be sold to ERCOT at “a price no lower than $1,500/MWh,” an increase of over 6,000 percent over February 2020 prices of $18.20.
