As a believer in Jesus, do you recognize the significance of the days we are living in?

The bible says what it will be like in these days , "For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." (Matthew 24:37-39).

None of those things mentioned above are intrinsically bad or sinful, so what is the reason they are mentioned? Frankly, it describes what today's society is like...they were preoccupied and consumed by the things they were interested in, instead of being aware of what was transpiring around them.

Does that sound familiar? It should...look around, so many are preoccupied by their phones, jobs, media and social media, entertainment and self-indulgence.

Most are unaware of the times or what is happening in the world and how it relates to their spiritual condition. The scripture says so..."they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."

I've spoken to so many Christians that really aren't aware or don't really care about what the days and signs of the times show them...they seem to be busy just living their daily lives and don't consider what Jesus said about what to watch for. It seems like they are the ones spoken about in the bible that aren't prepared...

(Matthew 25:1-13). It speaks of brides waiting for their groom to come back... some had lamps with wicks trimmed and extra lamp oil...some with nothing prepared so their lamps burned out and they could not see what was happening, thus they could not meet the bridegroom. They were not prepared. Perhaps they were too preoccupied with their daily lives to take the time to be prepared.

Please, for your sake, take the time to look at the signs of the times, read the scripture concerning these days and prepare your hearts for Christ's return for His bride, the church.

I really don't want Jesus to say to you "I don't know you".
