What an awesome tribute this early morning watching the 75th anniversary in Normandy,France at 5am as it would be about 12 noon in France...It’s over 9340 buried on sacred ground in the cemetery and a turning point for civilization..and was absolute HELL on Omaha Beach the morning of June 6, 1944 as 90 percent lost their lives in the first wave...on Omaha Beach..Also Utah Beach,Gold Beach,Juno, and Sword Beach But by far the most lives were lost at Omaha Beach..This is probably the winding down of this celebration as the veterans here now in their 90s ..if you ever get a chance to visit Normandy DO IT..you will not forget it..
