When my life is over
and I am lain beneath the clover
When the service is done
and the songs are sung
Do not leave flowers for me
Just have all who are there bow down on their knee
Sing the old song "Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling"
Tell those who are there about Him and stop them from falling
Pray for the lost and invite them in
Help them leave behind the world of sin
No better place will an alter call be gave
than at a sinner set frees grave
Leave your sins at my grave and let them lie dead like me
Buried and gone from Gods memory
And when I rise from my rest
I will see you with God and blessed
