"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

In case any of you don't understand the seriousness of what this verse is saying, these people thought they we're good little christians.

That means there are people walking around right now (you probably know many of them), who truly believe they are saved Christians on their way to some eternal pie in the sky, and they're just not.

The problem is these people are completely lukewarm. They might even have realized that 'the evil' lies within them, and repented of their sins at one time, but they have forgotten that they were purged of their old sins, and they have left off virtue, and godliness, and brotherly charity. They have become worldly because they work iniquity, neglecting the great salvation and the perfect law of God, which is liberty if you walk in it in spirit and truth.

That is your honest and humble worship of God. Fear God and keep his commandments. But these so called christians in name only couldn't even do that single duty which was bestowed upon them by their creator. So, they became vain in their imagination and their foolish heart was darkened. And because of their traditions of vanity, and paganism, and philosophy, and vain deceit, they made the commandments of God of none effect. They turned the grace of God into lasciviousness, which is to say lawlessness. They worked iniquity. Which is to say they sinned. Which is to say they transgressed God's perfect law of liberty and made themselves transgressors UNDER the law of sin and death.

They forgot that they were purged of their old sins. But their lukewarm hearts turned to stone. So, the law of God, the incorruptible seed of God, which is his word, did not remain in them. So, the commandments were just letters etched into stone to them, and they defiled them just like the example of the Israelites in the provocation.

The carnal mind cannot be subject to God's law, and therefore, they cannot please God. They are lukewarm in his mouth and so he spueth them back out after they had entered therein. There is only no condemnation to those who are IN Christ Jesus, who walk NOT AFTER THE FLESH, but after the spirit. Walk in the spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Ye MUST be born again. That means having your stoney heart made flesh so that God can write his law into BOTH your heart and your mind.

Head knowledge of the commandments is just letters etched in stone. The carnal mind cannot be subject to God's law. You can never keep the true sabbath according to the 4th commandment a day in your life until you understand it in your HEART as well as in your head.

"He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination."
~Proverbs 28:9~

Keep oil in your lamp. Read the King James Bible. Don't be one of those foolish virgins who comes trying to buy oil from me when the call goes out for the marriage supper of the lamb.

Even if you stumble there in the darkness, you will not have on the proper wedding garment, and you will be bound and cast into outer darkness, oh ye workers of iniquity. So keep oil in that lamp, and watch and pray, and keep your garments on. For ye know not what hour the master of the house does arrive. Like a thief in the night he does come.

None of your good work are going to justify you or save you. Only the righteousness of God, which is his love, which is to keep his commandments, can save you. The doers of the law shall be justified and NOT the hearers of the law only.

He that saith I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in them.

And when these workers of iniquity who name his name and call him Lord, Lord arrive at his wedding feast, he is going to tell them he never knew them, and to depart because they are lukewarm workers of iniquity. Never having lit the eternal fire of passion within them for God's love and law. He would rather you be hot or cold, rather than having to suffer casting you out into outer darkness when you were so excited and sure that he knew you and that you were guaranteed a spot at his table. But you cannot eat at the table of the Lord and the table of devils. Therefore, fill your lamp with oil by reading the KJB, and depart from all iniquity by having faith in it through the grace of God.

Jesus came to save his people from their sin!
