Uh, here’s the difference: Jesus didn't support taking from the haves to give to the have nots because that would be STEALING! Jesus supported giving from your heart and of your own personal resources. Politicians don't give from their personal resources; they expect everyone else to do what they’re not willing to do themselves. So, yes, that is the very essence of socialism.
