Regardless of how you feel about Mitch McConnell, we should all be thanking our lucky stars he was instrumental in keeping Merrick Garland from the Supreme Court in 2016. He would have been a bloody nightmare. Bad enough he's a nightmare as the AG. But at least that's not a lifetime appointment (hopefully).
