What happened if . . .
What if we humans were actually fundamentally good?
Wouldn't it then be the case that we could always meet our fellow human beings without violence, distrust, prejudice or envy?
Wouldn't it be the case then that hunger in the world would long ago have been successfully combated?
If we could go in the right direction together, shouldn't wars with their terrible consequences be prevented?
That these are pressing problems that should concern everyone,
is probably out of the question!
We know z. For example, for decades, thousands of children have been starving to death every day.
We know that there is no just war, but that every conflict causes death, refugees and suffering.
Why don't we get these bad developments
under control?
The answer is obvious :
Humanity is not capable of thorough learning.
And even if she were, she is not thoroughly willing to learn.
She continually stumbles upon selfishness, shortsightedness, and slowness.
Every new argument, every new war, every starved child proves anew every day that this problem is fundamental despite many good approaches.
All of this would be avoidable if we were really good.
We had more than enough opportunities to at least act well and do the right thing.
The communicative, scientific and economic opportunities are better than ever.
And yet mankind does not make anything of it.
There is no more excuse !!!
Man has to break away from the illusion that he would be able to save himself and the world on his own.
This requires someone who does not share our core human failure
but is really good and wise:
JEHOVAH GOD HIMSELF.
Mark 10:18
