#wholyfit WholyFit is not yoga. Some people tell me they cannot do any exercise that looks like yoga- well to them, if they did it anyway, that would be sin. If however we have freedom in Christ in our hearts to use all kinds of exercise for fitness alone (ie. not for worship like yoga does) then I exercise with a clean heart before God. It is a personal matter between you and God and you need to work it out with Him. However, it is important that we call out sin, especially if Christians are the ones sinning. The Bible is very clear that we can be around people who are not saved and sinning, but not to be around those who are "apostate" - Christians who live a sinful lifestyle contrary to the Bible. I believe those who participate in yoga are dangerously close to being apostates and I have actually known people who say they are Christian, but do yoga with idol statues present, etc... These people have crossed the line into apostasy and may not really be regenerated. The bottom line is that we never want to do anything that could cause another person to fall. See the Scriptures about the question of eating meat offered to idols. Christians who do yoga ruin their biblical testimony because yoga practices and teachings are anti-Bible and antichrist. To avoid the appearance of evil, to help people understand that WholyFit is not yoga, I constantly and vocally denounce yoga to the public (like I am doing right now.) I intentionally educate people against the dangers of yoga (spiritual and physical dangers) and make it clear continually that I am not doing yoga and do not participate in the yoga community. I especially denounce and reject all "Christian" yoga. Am I maintaining a good Christian witness? Tell me what you think.
