From Prime Time with God:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for The Bible and how it so clearly presents Your love and Your truth for all people.
Please teach and guide me as I read You Holy Word, The Bible.
Help me to commit verses to my memory so that I may hide Your Word in my heart.
May Your Word be present to help me in times of temptation and struggle.
Please reveal Your desires for me as I read my Bible...
For the word of God is alive and active.
Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit,
joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts
and attitudes of the heart.

Thank You for Your Word, The Holy Bible.
Thank You for Your Living Word, my Lord Jesus, the light of the world.
Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who fills, comforts, counsels and guides me each day.
Thank You for drawing me towards You, my loving Father.
