THE ESTES PARK TRAIL-GAZETTE, which is owned by Alden Global Capital, recently laid off a third of its editorial staff. Given the newspaper only had three employees not counting the publisher, a third represents a lot for the newspaper.
Of course, IF Alden Global Capital wanted THE ESTES PARK TRAIL-GAZETTE to succeed they would have laid off publisher Michael A. Romero, a proud card-carrying member of The Democratic Party because he contributes nothing to the newspaper except for failure through his regular self-serving editorials in which he lectures the residents of Estes Park, CO.
