I believe that it's possible that a break away civilization already exists. That would explain why they don't seem to have a problem with wrecking the world economy. The elites are parasites on the economy as wealth is continuously funneled to the top. The eventual result if not stopped is that eventually they will own everything versus the over 50% of the worlds wealth that they own now. Add in suppressed technology which they have access to and tremendous wealth. They definitely have the means if they were so inclined and the ability to keep it hidden.
