Sen. Marsha Blackburn says Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin has blocking her subpoena request for the Jeffrey Epstein's flight logs, which the Tennessee Republican says she requested over concerns about human trafficking. Epstein was a wealth financier who died in prison in August 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking of dozens of girls. Epstein was a major Democrat donor. A former Epstein pilot testified in a related 2021 trial that former President Bill Clinton was a passenger on the private flights, which has made Epstein and his world an ongoing target for conservatives. Blackburn is a member of the Democrat-led Senate Judiciary Committee. "Senator Durbin BLOCKED my request to subpoena Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs," Blackburn wrote. "What are Democrats trying to hide?"
