From Gov. Ron DeSantis: SB 1264 ensures students in Florida are educated on the true history and dangers of communism. It also establishes the Institute for Freedom in the Americas at Miami Dade College, and paves the way for the creation of a museum highlighting the history and destructiveness of communism.
It’s our duty to educate the next generation on the threat communism poses to a free society. I was proud to sign this bill today to further improve Florida’s education standards.
