Our area has had some created extreme winds for two days in a row now.
I managed to get in a 7 mile ride despite the extreme wind, my riding time was so much longer than it normally was because of this wind.
But I still rode my bicycle because I enjoy riding my bike, and I'm glad I still rode this morning.
Sometimes you just gotta put your head down, keep pedaling, and still ride, even on windy days.
Ride often, ride safe... and enjoy life.
