Ezekiel 18:4
Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Romans Chapter 6
16Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Ephesians 2:3
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

King James Version (KJV)

In the light of eternity we shall see that what we desired would have been fatal to us, Francois Fenelon.

Those words from that guy who I heard and learned had an influence on a preacher named A.W. Tozer they definitely prove true to what Ezekiel and Paul wrote with what the God of Heaven speaks in Ezekiel 18:4 and Romans 6:16. To have something become fatal to us definitely proves the truth behind the words of Paul in Romans those words being sin unto death. And when it brings about death one will sooner or later be reminded that it never really pays off when it aims at tricking deceiving them that are targeted by it when it happens in reality.
