The Bible assures me that neither I, nor any other person, will ever know the hour, nor the day of the Rapture, but it could occur in the next moment or as late as the 2060's or 2070's when my great-granddaughters will be in their 50's or 60's. They should be encouraged, not pressured to follow Christ Jesus.

The following thoughts are NOT prophecy. They are thoughts that coalesced in my mind. I have studied “End-time” prophecies for years, going through book after book & video after video & sermon after sermon, so these thoughts are my own but did not originate in me..

Until yesterday, I, like most Christians, believed that the formation of the State of Israel in 1948 marked the generation that would “...not pass away til all be fulfilled.” (Luke 21:32 KJV). I now believe that the 'Dry Bones' re-birth of Israel is a process that is in progress, but not yet fulfilled and the 1948 formation of the State of Israel was an important sign that re-focused world attenion to the prophecies and to Israel.

Two points that support this are:
1. Over half, but certainly not all Jews have returned to the land of Israel; and
2. The Jews do not have a temple on Temple Mount & do not have a government.

From the days of Moses, when God had them build the movable Tabernacle of the Congregation, to abt 70 AD when Romans destroyed the Temple, their stationary Tabernacle of the Congregation and exiled the Jews from Israel, the Tabernacle of the Congregation was the essence of the Jewish People.

I now believe that the 'final generation' of Luke 21:32 will not start until all of the Jews have returned and they have their Temple on Temple Mount and have control of their government.
