The Left Chooses Politics Over Family
By distancing themselves from their Trump-supporting loved ones, aggrieved Harris supporters are doing the work of the anti-family Left.

As the political Left continues to melt down over the election results earlier this month, the impact of their unhinged retaliation against the Right is extending into our holiday meals and family gatherings.

Some outraged Harris voters felt that shaving their own heads was an appropriate response to their candidate not winning, and others have chosen to live their lives as nuns for the next four years to really “show us” for electing the Bad Orange Man. Another group is lashing out by cutting off contact with family members and isolating their own children from relatives who supposedly chose to plunge America into a dictatorship.

Causing pain to themselves is apparently not enough. They must also hurt those around them and attempt to drag others into the dark hole of misery that they can’t seem to find their own way out of.

One woman posted a video expressing her disbelief that her educated white parents voted for Trump, “knowing who he is,” and that she and her family would thus opt out of celebrating the holidays with them.

Another shows a woman mulling the prospect of hurting her family by refusing to spend Thanksgiving or Christmas with them. She examines her fingernails as the caption on the screen reads, “When your MAGA loving 3X tr*mp voting family is upset you’re setting boundaries with them including not seeing them this holiday season.”

Still another disgruntled Harris supporter shared a post-election conversation she had with her Trump-voting parents: that “because they voted for someone that wants me dead … they no longer have the privilege of having their daughter or their granddaughters in their life.”

As humorous as it is to watch these irrational individuals continue to spiral — based on the unfounded idea that Donald Trump wants women to die or that his purpose in life is to satisfy an overwhelming thirst for dictatorial control — the darker side of these people dismantling their own family units is that they are playing right into the larger goals of the anti-family leftists who have taken over the Democrat Party.

For years, we have listened to Kamala Harris repeat the line, “Imagine what can be, unburdened by what has been.” This was generally regarded as little more than an extension of the word salad that Harris became known for in her speeches and failed attempts at boosting morale. However, as the details of the vice president’s upbringing became more widely known, it came to light that her childhood teachings likely included the philosophies of Karl Marx himself. These are the ideas that she has contributed to the Left, with the goal of making the nuclear family a thing of the past, promoting the idea that raising children is the job of the community, and supporting the belief that “chosen families” are the way of the future.

One of the first criticisms of JD Vance was his resurfaced comments about the Left being the anti-family party while expressing concern over “childless cat ladies” being the leading voice of election outcomes and determining which government policies serve our values best. Leftists were performatively offended at the assertion that they were against families and that people without children could quicken the downfall of a nation that was built on Judeo-Christian values, such as getting married, having children, and passing down our traditions, our history, and the product of our successes.

However, as Matthew 7:16 says, “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” The fruits of far-left ideology have produced a generation of young adults who have no problem throwing away their family members. These people believe that selecting members from an ideologically exclusive community is a sufficient substitute for those who share their blood and who sacrificed to raise them.

One woman specifically used the phrase “chosen family” in her own public rant against her elderly Trump-supporting parents, demonstrating how effectively these anti-family beliefs have been ingrained into modern discourse and education. She showed no concern for their well-being by pulling herself and her kids out of their lives, and she almost seemed proud of the fact that she could so quickly and easily bury a relationship with those who should mean the most to her. “We all have our chosen families that we’re building,” she callously explained to viewers. “We’re not going to be the lonely ones.”
