More empty words. Nice and vague. Even if they actually mean anything, the Israeli government has so deceived the people of Israel, they have so shattered the trust of the people with outlandish lies and betrayal, that democracy going forward has little meaning. Hatred and suspicion is what will remain for the Israeli government and all who they hire.
A great percentage of Israeli society will be disillusioned due to the obvious lies and betrayal of the Israeli government. Imagine trying to tell Jews that the Israeli government is dominated by wealthy individuals and institutions, it obeys their commands, for reasons that are not specified, to a degree that is never disclosed, and we cannot even inform Israelis that they need to support more biblically sound policies, as well as security policies grounded in secular realities on the ground.
Like wanting to teach a complex science, to a people who dont have a right to education, and they dont even know it. G-d will make a way, but our choices, and those of our leaders, dictate if we learn from death, violence and suffering, or through discourse. This weeks events represent a harsh turn towards a reduction in the people of Israels ability to learn through their institutions. The upper classes, also expose themselves to other injustices, by failing the people of Israel, and forcing a confrontation with Trump, that would have borne nothing but great fruits. Instead, our union withers. In G-d I trust.
