It is so amazing to consider how Paul's epistles like 1 Corinthians 13 and others became a lamp unto our founding fathers. Paul speaks of a charitable, selfless love called "agape" in Greek. By the 1860s Abraham Lincoln is writing in a speech about "malice toward none and charity for all." This is sadly lacking in too many of the members of our government, today. How can we remain "one nation, under God" without becoming in harmony with His will, His plan, His Gospel Word?
