My Bible verse of The Day - 3-20-25

Matthew 16:15-16 (NKJV) 15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Peter could only know this and give such an answer because God had shown him. His relationship with God is what gave him the wisdom and understanding to speak such truth.

Peter declaring Jesus as divine, the promised Messiah was an understanding that came solely by divine revelation.

Matthew 16:17 (NKJV) 17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Go, Peter!

This is what happens when we have a relationship with our Lord. We get His understanding and wisdom!

What is our relationship with our Lord like today?

Would we be able to answer such a question as Peter did with such confidence? With such understanding?

Let us press into God today. Grow closer to Him in our walk. Let Him help us go deeper.

God bless each one of you today. Our prayers are for you to have an understanding of our Lord that when we are asked such a question, we will jump at the opportunity to shout it from the rooftops with much confidence, because we KNOW!
